Standard Holiday Schedule

Parent the child lives with primarily has the following standard holidays:

  • Thanksgiving in even-numbered years beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the day the child is released from school for Thanksgiving break and ending at 6:00 p.m. on the Sunday after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Break in odd-numbered years beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the day the child is dismissed from school for Christmas vacation and ending at noon on December 28th
  • Spring Break in odd-numbered years beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the day school is dismissed from school for Spring Break and ending at 6:00 p.m. on the day before school resumes after the break (Except when the parents live over 100 miles apart because the visiting parent has the child every spring break)

Parent the child has a visitation schedule with has the following standard holidays:

  • Thanksgiving in odd-numbered years beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the day the child is released from school for Thanksgiving break and ending at 6:00 p.m. on the Sunday after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Break in even-numbered years beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the day the child is dismissed from school for Christmas vacation and ending at noon on December 28th
  • Spring Break in even-numbered years beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the day school is dismissed from school for Spring Break and ending at 6:00 p.m. on the day before school resumes after the break. (If parent lives over 100 miles from child’s primary residence, then parent has the child for every spring break)

Child’s Birthday

  • If a parent does not have possession of a child on the child’s birthday the parent is permitted to have possession of the child from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the child’s birthday

Mother’s Day

  • Mother’s get possession beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the Friday before Mother’s Day and ending at 6:00 p.m. on Mother’s Day

Father’s Day

  • Father’s get possession beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday before Father’s Day and ending at 6:00 p.m. on Father’s Day
